How we decide the order
First you choose where you are and how far you will travel. We only show therapists within that distance — the rest are not in the list at all. Among those who are, three things decide the order, in this order:
Your favourites
If you have marked a therapist or a place as a favourite, they come first. That is the only thing that beats everything else.
How much they have booked through us
Next comes whoever has had the most bookings through Gaiso over the last three months. We take a fixed share of every booking, so those are also the ones who have given us the most.
Who is closest
If two are equal on the above, the one closest to you comes first. If they are still exactly equal, we sort by name — only so the order is the same every time you search, rather than random.
Nobody can pay to rank higher
We do not sell placement. The fee is the same for every therapist, and nobody can buy their way up the list. But because the order is tied to how much is booked through us, we say so plainly here.
